Life Legacy:
Yancy Sean Noll April 10, 1969 ~ August 31, 2012 Yancy Noll was killed Friday August 31, 2012, in Seattle, while driving home from work in an incident of senseless random violence. Citizens, friends, and work associates are still in shock and disbelief. Yancy left an impression of integrity, warmth and good cheer with everyone he met. Yancy was born in San Rafael, California, grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and moved to Seattle in the late 1980's. He worked in the wine and restaurant industries for many years. Most recently he was employed with QFC as a wine steward. Yancy loved the outdoors and joined the Mountaineers where he trained for many hikes and summit climbs, including Mount Rainier. He also enjoyed sea kayaking, running, telemark skiing, biking, playing guitar, and hanging out with his loyal dog, Lola. Yancy is survived by his girlfriend, Jody Wirtz, his sister, Katrina Noll, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial will be held at the Mountaineers facility, 7700 Sand Point Way NE, (Magnuson Park) on Sept. 16, 3-6pm for Yancy's friends and family. Tributes and stories will begin at 3:30 p.m. See Yancy's public Facebook page for more information about his life and this unsolved crime.
