Stepan I. Zaremba

26 травня 2019 року о 6-ій годині вечора перестало битися серце доброго чоловіка, батька, дідуся Степана Івановича Заремба.
Степан Іванович народився 2го січня 1936 року в селі Жабокруки на хуторі Підфігура, Жидачівського району, Львівської області у віруючій сім’ї Івана та Марії Заремба.
Брат Степан був третім із одинадцяти дітей котрі народилися і проживали в одній із чотирьох хат на хуторі. Життя було не легким, адже війна не обійшла ні однієї хатини. Але Господь, в котрого повірила сім’я Заремба в 1935 році ніколи не залишав їх. Батько Степана Іван, був проповідником слова Божого, і за всяких обставин ходив в церкву на зібрання у село, і свідкував своїм односільчанам.

У молоді роки Степан доглядав молодших братів і сестер, слідкував за порядком, випасав на пасовищі 8 корів, із яких 4 належали їхній сім’ї, а 4 їхнім сусідам, ходив до школи із хутора до села долаючи більше 2 кілометрів. Степан був здібним до навчання хлопцем, ще у юні роки випасаючи худобу Степан писав вірші.
У після-воєнні роки НКВД (міліція) постійно переслідували сім’ю Зарембів, хотіли заслати у Сибір, але Господь зберіг. Після закінчення школи у 1954-55 роках, брат Степан разом із старшим братом Богданом працював помічником тракториста. А в 1955 році Степана забрали в армію у Калінінград, де він відслужив 3 довгі роки.
Після повернення з армії у 1958 році брат Степан заключає завіт з Господом через святе водне хрещення котре звершував брат Михайло Гладкий у Жабокруках. По деякому часі брат Степан переїзджає у місто Львів, поступає у технікум, намагається продовжити навчання, але Радянська влада не дозволила. У 1962 році брат Степан одружується з Піддубною Жанною Семенівною з котрою прожив у благословенному Богом шлюбі 56 років. Бог дарував їм двох дітей доньку Наталю та сина Ореста.
Після армії отримавши посвідчення водія, брат Степан працював водієм автобусів, вантажівок, легкових автомобілів. Брат Степан був доброю, простою і щирою людиною. Працюючи водієм в Університеті, чи водієм у генерального директора Львівського телевізорного заводу, ці директори зверталися до нього по-батькові Степан Іванович. Не зважаючи на те, що у нього не було вищої освіти, але він свобідно міг спілкуватися з цими урядовцями на різні теми і ніколи не соромився своєї віри в Бога.
У 1992 році брат Степан Іванович переїхав до Сполучених Штатів на постійне місце проживання, він був активним членом церкви, співав у хорі, активно працював на будівництві будинків молитви.

Брат Степан був скромною людиною, не любив себе виставляти. Більшість із родини навіть не знали що він може писати вірші.
Брат Степан занедужав у 2016 році але Він знав свій кінцевий пункт призначення. Ще у 2016 році Бог показав йому зустріч із батьком Іваном у небесному Єрусалимі і він прагнув до свого Господа.

On May 26, 2019 at 6 o'clock in the evening, the heart of a good husband, father, grandfather Stepan Ivanovich Zaremba stopped fighting. Stepan Ivanovich was born on January 2, 1936 in the village of Zhabokrokki, on the farm of Pidfigur, Zhydachiv district, Lviv region in the faithful family of Ivan and Maria Zaremba. Brother Stepan was the third of eleven children who were born and lived in one of the four huts on the farm. Life was not easy, because the war did not bypass a single hut. But the Lord, in whom the Zaremba family believed in 1935, never left them. The father of Stepan Ivan, was a preacher of the word of God, and in all circumstances went to the church to gather in the village, and testified to his monks.

In younger years, Stepan took care of his younger brothers and sisters, followed the order, grazed in the pasture of 8 cows, of which 4 belonged to their families, and 4 of their neighbors, went to school from the farm to the village overcoming more than 2 kilometers. Stepan was capable of learning a boyfriend, while in his youth grazing cattle, Stepan wrote poetry. In the aftermath of the war, the NKVD (militia) constantly pursued a family of Zarabians, they wanted to send to Siberia, but the Lord kept. After graduating from school in 1954-55, Brother Stepan, along with his elder brother Bohdan, worked as a trainee's assistant. And in 1955 Stepan was taken to the army in Kaliningrad, where he served for 3 years.

After returning from the army in 1958, Stephen's brother made a covenant with the Lord through the holy water baptism performed by his brother Mikhail Gladkyi in Zhabokrok. For some time, Stepan's brother moves to Lviv, goes to college, tries to continue his studies, but the Soviet authorities did not allow him. In 1962, Stephen's brother married Zadar Semyonovna Pidubnya, with whom he lived in the blessed God for a 56-year-old marriage. God gave them two children to the daughter of Natal and the son of Orest.

After the army received a driver's license, Stepan's brother worked as a driver of buses, trucks, cars. Brother Stepan was a kind, simple and sincere person. While working as a driver at the University, or as a driver at the General Director of the Lviv Television Plant, these directors addressed Stepan Ivanovich to his father. Despite the fact that he did not have higher education, but he freely could communicate with these officials on various topics and never was ashamed of his belief in God.

In 1992, his brother Stepan Ivanovich moved to the United States for permanent residence, he was an active member of the church, sang at the choir, actively worked on the construction of houses of prayer. Brother Stepan was a modest man, he did not like to exhibit himself. Most of the family did not even know that he could write poetry. Brother Stepan became ill in 2016 but he knew his final destination. In 2016, God showed him a meeting with his father John in heavenly Jerusalem, and he sought his Lord.

Stepan Ivanovich left his sorrow on the ground: wife Jeanne daughter Natalia and son of Oleg son of Orestes and daughter Lyuba Arthur's grandchildren - Irina Ruslana - Kristina Yuriy Alla Mariana - Evelina Four great-grandchildren: James, Jasmine, Julius and Luke Brothers Bohdan, Peter and Ivan Sisters Oksana, Stefu and Katerina Family, friends, church The light and kind memories of the dear husband, father, grandfather, brother will remain in our hearts forever.
