George Michael Moran, born December 29th, 1936 in Akron, Ohio to James Arthur Moran and Florence Dorothy Colwell, passed away peacefully on November 30th, 2011 in Federal Way, Washington. George spent his life working in the aerospace field and was given many awards for his work with NASA and various Space Shuttle Programs. He loved golfing, fishing and living life to the fullest. Classic movies were of special interest to him. Red Skelton was his favorite comedian and artist (he collected his clown portraits). He was predeceased by the love of his life Darlene. They were married for 50 wonderful years. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. George will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery.
