Sulial
Sikong
Mar 31, 1983 — Feb 26, 2023
It is with great sorrow that we share the passing of our dear Sulial "Sul" Sikong, age 39 on February 26,2023 due to an unexpected accident.
Sulial was born to Sikong Ngirakesau and Tasiana Alii on 03/31/1983 in the island country of Palau where he spent most of his childhood. Sulial was the 3rd oldest child of 6 siblings which consisted of 3 boys and 3 girls. He is survived by his siblings starting from the oldest to the youngest; Dixon Ngirakesau, Delma Sikong, Danjela Sikong, Ngirasiau D. Sikong, Dixie Sikong. He married later in his life and is also survived by his 2 kids, Lsau Sikong and the youngest, Tochi Sikong.
Sulial graduated from Koror Elementary School in 1999 when graduation was still practiced before high school. While in school, he was very outgoing, tough and a very straight forward type of guy which earned him many great friends. He participated in a few school activities but is known for being one of the fastest kids in the 400m and helped the school win its 1st trophy back in 1999. He enjoyed outdoor activities especially fishing with either his cousins or friends but the one person he truly enjoyed fishing with was his Father.
In 2003 he relocated to the U.S in search of better opportunity and that is when he enrolled in Sedro-Whoolley School district and earned himself a high school diploma. He was employed by many different companies because he wanted to try as many different things as he could and he was very successful with each of them. Sulial was a family man who loved his parents and especially his kids who he talked about often. He was also very close with his siblings and would always talk about visiting them soon. He enjoyed being around his cousins and at times would do surprise visits to his aunts and uncles which now will be missed very much.
Everyone is welcome to join us in celebration of life on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 1:00 pm to 3:00pm to honor him. The celebration will be at Personal Alternative Funeral Services, 749 Central Avenue North, Kent, WA, 98032.
