Donald (Donnie) Andrew Chapman, age 45, of Federal Way, WA passed away on May 31, 2016. Donnie Chapman was born in Burien, Washington on June 28, 1970. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1989. He was an avid sportsman and fisherman as well as a Seahawks and Mariners fan. He loved traveling, photography and his favorite vacation spot was Depot Bay, OR. He enjoyed going fishing on charter boats in the Pacific Ocean. Locally, he was known to fish at Steel Lake and off of the docks in Redondo and Dash Point. He owned a boat and spent countless hours fishing in Commencement Bay with his friends. At home, he loved his family and playing with pets (Dog: Maggie, Cats; Cinderella, and Chinook) as well as playing video games, going bowling and watching movies. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; Bill Chapman Sr. and maternal grandparents; Donald O’Connor and Patricia Weisman. His is also preceded in death by his eldest sister, Eileen L. Chapman. He is survived by his paternal grandmother, Pearl Chapman. His is survived by his parents Bill V. Chapman and Susan E. Chapman as well as his younger sister Tricia; her children are Brandon and Tabby Carper. (Their father is Donald Carper and his son is Alex Carper whose mother is Sabrina). The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Steel Lake Presbyterian Church with Pastor Will Mason officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share in conversation and refreshments downstairs in the fellowship hall after the Service.
