MARIANO V. CRUZ Obituary Mariano Vichuaco Cruz, faithful husband of Dolores Siscar Cruz, loving father to Rita Siscar Cruz, Elba Cruz Trinidad (Eduard Trinidad), and Noel Siscar Cruz (Maria Lingad), dear grandfather of Enrique Miguel “Ikkey” Siscar Cruz and Noelle “Ella” Lingad Cruz and step grandfather of Earl John Trinidad, Carl Jake Trinidad, and Rodolfo Zorrilla. Mariano lived to a ripe age of 85 years, had a long career operating a family bakery business in Nevada and California. Before that, he worked for Toyota Philippines and Engineering Equipment Inc. after obtaining degrees in mechanical and electrical engineering and an MBA in the Philippines. A funeral mass will be held on May 22, Friday, 9:00 am at St. Anthony Chapel 310 Third Ave S, Kent, Wa USA 98032. Mariano’s cremated remains will be brought to the Philippines with several masses to be scheduled, namely: Balanga City, Bataan; Metro Manila; and, Sto. Tomas, Batangas. Entombment of his remains will be at the Sto. Tomas Catholic cementery. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please send donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in your area, LuMind Foundation, or Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines, Inc. Finally, Mariano’s family is very grateful to all his caregivers at the Evergreen Home Services adult family home in Kent, Wa USA.
