Randy Thomas Saso-Shaw, born February 22nd, 1989, died August 13th, 2013. Randy Saso-Shaw Age 24, was born in Renton, Washington on February 22, 1989. Randy came into lives of Michael, Sondra, and Malia Shaw of Gig Harbor at the age of 12. Randy is survived by his parents Michael and Sondra Shaw; his sister Malia Shaw; grandparents Joanne Greco, Dick and Jackie McChesney and Don and Sharon Shaw; biological parents Kristin Saso and Ritchie Saso; brothers Travis, Christopher, Justin, and Michael Williams; along with numerous family and friends. Randy fought a long battle with brain cancer like a warrior, and always maintained a positive outlook. His strongest trait was staying upbeat, even during the greatest trials of his life. He never let anything stand in his way from achieving his goals, including earning his high school diploma during his battle. Randy participated in the Seattle Brain Cancer Walk annually. His motto was "la vita e' bella," life is beautiful. Randy succumbed to his illness on August 13, 2013. He touched the hearts and lives of many. He was a beacon of light and brought joy and laughter to all. Randy loved to entertain friends, watch movies and to cook. He took pride his friend- ships. A significant person in Randy's life was his high school girlfriend Jordyn Panitzke. Their friendship remained unmatched. A Celebration of Life for Randy will be held on Wednesday August 28, 2013 at Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in Gig Harbor. Service to begin at 3:00pm.
