Raymond Wendell ANDERSON

Raymond Wendell Anderson, age 84, died Wednesday morning, December 11, 2013 in Edmonds, WA surrounded by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Beverly, his sons Curt (Pat) and Clint, his step-daughters Diane Lofthus and Kathy (Mike) Shoucair, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, his sister, Eleanor (Dan) Breen, and his sister-in-law, Shirley Williams. Ray was born in Duluth, MN on March 3, 1929 and was the youngest of 7 children born to Nels and Elsie Anderson. In 1952, Ray moved to Seattle, WA where he spent the majority of his working career with Carnation Milk Company and as an owner/operator of a service station in Mountlake Terrace, WA. Ray enjoyed his retirement, spending several years traveling with Bev throughout the US, seeing the country and making new friends along the way. Eventually they settled in Sun City West, AZ. Ray and Bev had returned to Washington to visit with family and friends for the holiday season when he passed away. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
