Robert LAWRENCE

Robert P. Lawrence (July 24, 1931 - March 10, 2015) Bob was born July 24, 1931 in Yakima, WA. He passed away, March 10, 2015 at the Burien Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He and his wife Pat celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary last month. Bob was a graduate of Gonzaga University where he earned his B. Ed. and M. Ed. He also attended Washington State University on a NDEA fellowship for post graduate advanced study in counseling and guidance. He taught in public schools in Spokane and Yakima, then returned to teach at Gonzaga University in the Education Dept. He retired after 25 years as Dean of Instruction for math, learning resource center and educational services at Green River Community College in Auburn, WA. He is survived by his wife Pat, son Paul, daughter Jean and several nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and we will miss him very much. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19 at St Theresa's Parish (3939 SW 331st St. Federal Way) where he was a long time parishioner.
