Rodney KAPULE

Rodney Dayton Kapule Sr., died on October 2, 2012 in Auburn, WA. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii where he married Laura Manatad. He worked for the Honolulu City Refuge and later moved his family to Washington in 1981. He began work with Weyerhaeuser and later began his career with Renton Technical College as a facilities specialist. After 23 years, he retired from Renton Technical College in July 2012. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, and cruises. He was an active member of Holy Spirit Parish in Kent for 29 years and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Laura, sister Maxine Kapule, brother Russell Kapule, children Rod Jr. (wife Bobbie Jo), Rendell, and Renfred (wife Tami). Also survived by grandchildren, Kylie, Rodney III, Blaine, Ethan, and Kyle. Services will be held at Holy Spirit Parish in Kent, WA on Saturday, October 13th with viewing at 11:45AM-12:45AM. Mass to follow.
