Steven NORTON Obituary

Steve’s Journey Steve was born in Edmond's in 1956 he spent his early years in the greater Seattle area, he had many great memories of spending time at his Uncle Alex’s restaurant in the Pike Place Market. He always felt at home in the Market. He started working with his dad in the Autobody Industry at a young age and continued in every aspect of the industry. He married Dorene in 1982 and shortly after they moved to Carnation with their two young sons, Jacob and Jesse. Steve opened his bodyshop and Tow company, he loved working with the local law enforcement officers as part of the tow company. He very much loved being part of his community; taking part in the chamber of commerce and the Carnation 4th of July community. He organized and ran the very first Hot Rod and Harley show in Carnation an event that is still enjoyed today. He was so very honored to be chosen as the Grand Marshall of the 4th of July Parade and proudly drove his John Deere Tractor down the parade route. He moved back to Edmond's a few years ago and started working for Verifax Automotive a company that help’s Autobody Shops achieve and maintain a standard of excellence that Steve truly believed in. He really enjoyed showing young autobody professionals how to be the best that they could be. Steve is survived by his wife of 32 years Dorene, His two son's Jacob and Jesse. His parents Diane and Larry. His brother David and his sister Shelly. His nieces, Angela and Keara. His nephews Jed, Christopher, and Colin.
